Gary LIVES UNITED!
The Partnership Committee is always looking for community members who would be willing to use their skills to improve our community.
The Partnership Committee recruits community members to dedicate their expertise, leadership and talents in resolving important issues in our community. The Partnership Committee devises and implements solutions to issues identified as priorities by the Strategic Planning Committee. The Partnership Committee can work with and assist community agencies identified by the Safe and Stable Neighborhoods Committee or it can create stand alone programs as needed.
The Partnership Committee is led by an Emeritus Board composed of experienced community leaders. They establish the basic structure for the programs and set appropriate goals and measurable objectives. They then seek appropriately qualified community members to lead the efforts. Similar to the Community Investment Committee that allocates money to the various partner agencies of Mesa United Way, the Partnership Committee acquires and allocates the human resources needed to work on projects.
